Veriwise Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority with permissions as a Claim Management Company (firm reference number 826387). We deal with Housing Disrepair Claims which are made using our online platform.
Your claim process will begin once you create your profile on our online platform. We will review the evidence that you submit on the portal and may ask you to upload additional information if required.
We will advise you on the validity of your claim and ask for your consent to continue (if so advised) with it.
If we cannot resolve the issue with your Landlord, we will ask if you want us to refer your case to a solicitor. If you agree, we will offer you other financial products to assist in making your claim (Disbursement Loans and After The Event Insurance) in order to reduce your financial risk.
You may have to attend Court to provide evidence of your claim.
Once we have all the information required and you have logged this on the on-line portal, we will assess your claim and advise you whether or not to proceed.
We will update your case regularly on the online portal and/or by email. For an immediate update you can send us a message on the portal or by email at any time.
Our fees become payable at the successful conclusion of a compensation claim and are deducted from the gross amount recovered for you at the rate of 25%.

The amount recovered may not be the amount that you have claimed, and where this is the case, we will tell you before accepting the offer.

Under your rights in the Consumer Contracts Regulations (2013) you have the right to cancel for any reason within 14 days of entering into an agreement with us. However, should you decide to waive this right in order for us to proceed with your claim within this 14-day period, you may be liable for any costs reasonably incurred by us in processing your claim.
You can terminate your contract with us at any other time by informing us in writing (including by email, letter or on the portal) or by telephone.
You are NOT required to use the services of Veriwise which carries on regulated claims management activity to pursue your claim; and
it is possible for you to present the claim yourself for free, either against the landlord in person or to the Housing Ombudsman Service or to a “designated person” such as your MP, local councillor or a tenant panel.
